PhD in Law and Social Sciences: Cycle Labor Law at the 21th Century Accredited by the CONEAU resolution Nº nº1170/11. Degree: Doctor en Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales (PhD in Law and Social Sciences) Length:12 months. The PhD in Law and Social Sciences was the first program offered in the region, and it was included in the group of first doctorates of this kind in the country. From the year 1969, the Universidad de Mendoza offers its graduates, professors, and local, national and international researchers an academic education par excellence, allowing a new contribution to the Legal Science. Goals This PhD has the goal of the development and improvement in the area of legal knowledge, the universality of which should tend to the provision of truly original contributions within the chosen field, always in a framework of highly academic excellence. The orientation in the 2015/2016 cycle is Labor Law. Aimed at Attorneys or Notaries Public, having a degree from nationally private or public universities, authorized by the National Department of Education and Culture, and foreign degrees validated by the National State. The process of selection of candidates for this course is in charge of the Committee of Admissions. General Curriculum Content MODULE I: ·"Individual Labor Law." MODULE II. "Collective Labor Law. MODULE III: "Adminstrative and Labor Legal Proceedings." Seminar I. Seminar II. Epistemology, Research Methodology and Thesis workshop.
Diploma in Hydric Resources and Environment
Diploma in Hydric Resources and Environment
Certification: Diploma in Hydric Resources and Environment. Environmental policy, legislation, administration and economy. Length: six months. This diploma consists of a university certification, thus the Universidad de Mendoza will issue this Diploma certificate. The attendance will not be completely in-class, combining theoretical and practical classes at the university classrooms, demanding a previous reading of the material provided virtually. Goals The UM offers this diploma due to the increasing academic and professional demand of specialists qualified to approach topics related to the environment and hydric resources, particularly their legislation, administration, management and economy as tools to fulfill a sustainable development. Some of the goals are: To provide knowledge about the regulations and proceedings, as well as the technical and scientific bases related to hydric resources and environment. To develop the attendee's ability to fulfill a research for them to include in their activities the current progress achieved for the environment conservation and for a better management of the quality and quantity of hydric resources for the society's benefit. To learn and analyze the legislation,m administration, management and economy related to the environment and hydric resources at provincial, national and international level. To foster the interdisciplinary debate and reflection about new ways to face the problems related to the legislation, administration, management and economy of the environment and hydric resources. To cooperate with the professional training dealing with the ability to transfer the acquired knlwedge to the area of decisions and actions, as regards the public or private sector, proposing integrated, real and effective solutions for water problems in short or long term. Aimed at Attorneys or Notaries Public, having a degree from nationally private or public universities, authorized by the National Department of Education and Culture, and foreign degrees validated by the National State. This diplomas is also aimed at advanced students attending tha last years of the above mentioned degree courses; officials and employees of the Environment & Water Administration; people interested in this topic whose studies or works demand a suplementary training like this diploma subjects. In all these cases, an attendance certificate with the corresponding module passing will be issued. General Curriculum Content MODULE I: The Environmental Justice of the 21th Century. MODULE II. This diploma consists of a university certification, thus the Universidad de Mendoza will issue this Diploma certificate. The attendance will not be completely in-class, combining theoretical and practical classes at the university classrooms, demanding a previous reading of the material provided virtually. Goals The UM offers this diploma due to the increasing academic and professional demand of specialists qualified to approach topics related to Labor Law. Some of the goals are: To provide knowledge about the regulations and proceedings, as well as the technical and scientific bases related to Labor Law. To get to know and assess theoretical and practical aspects of the legislation related to Labor Law, particualrly with the Labor Risks Law.
