Introduction to the School of Architecture, Urban Planning & Design

The School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design, accredited by the CONEAU Resolution Nª 396-09, owns modern premises with drawing rooms, model workshops,  a specific classroom for the final project presentation, a state-of-the-art computer center, and an outstanding academic personnel. All these features are providing this school with the necessary prestige for the future architects and bachelors in interior, graphic, costume and textile designers, and real estate brokers.

This School of architecture and urban planning has also the mission of training those who, among other tasks, will have to generate habitable spaces, improving people’s life quality.

Likewise, by the attending of theoretical and practice courses, this school provides the student of architecture with comprehensive training to make them able to develop different roles and functions of their profession.

The bachelor in Design degree comprises the degree courses of interior, graphic, costume and textile design. This course has the goal of training professionals able to design and manage the architectural environment provision, visual communication and people’s outfit; including a professional practice, attendance of elective courses, a research paper and the final work.

The School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design has been assessed by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) (http://www.architecture.com), in May-2003 and upgraded in the year 2005. Likewise, this School usually participates in undergraduate contests, having been awarded in several of those instances.  Among its activities are advanced and PhD courses.

The degree courses of Design are also rendered in the school of Mendoza and San Rafael campus.
