Degree: Especialista en Especialización en Planificación en Infraestructura en Salud Based on its interdisciplinary infrastructure, this specialization will allow an integral training for an advanced study of architecture, health sciences and engineering (bioengineering, engineering, electronic engineering and other degree courses,) providing the students with knowledge and needed tools to compound interdisciplinary teams for the Health Infrastructure Planning. Goals To provide a specifically disciplinary training, based on the interdisciplinary participation of a methodological, reflexive and integral mode. To foster the development of a professional profile specialized for a proper performance in the team composition for the Health Infrastructure Planning, Aimed at Professionals, researchers, scholars and technicians working in areas related with Health Infrastructure. People in charge of technical areas of the public administration, members of foundations and civil society and private organizations working in the health environment. Length: 8 months Attendance: organized in 3 (three) topical axis with a total class hours of 210 hours. Goals The creation of this diploma has origin in the need to deepen and upgrade methodologies, which incorporate complexity at the moment of designing, in order to acquire disciplinary knowledge within the specific project. These methodologies are aimed at revitalizing the research profile from the problem construction to the final proposal. From the theoretical approach, the proposal aims to review, update and feedback the central architectural problems and their relation with the city and the environment, increasing the architectural knowledge level. From the methodological approach, the purpose is to establish links between the project research and other disciplinary fields, such as philosophy, anthropology, technology and the environment among others, which all of them are necessary for the renewal and critical review of professional performance. From the projective technique approach, the goal is to transmit, review, incorporate and generate new ways of professional addressing, including complex processes of project research. Aimed at The Diploma is aimed at professionals, researchers and academics, who work in areas related to architecture, urbanism, planning and landscape areas, including professionals in technical areas of public administration as well. People authorized to attend this diploma are those professionals with graduate degree in Architecture, Bachelor of Design and related disciplines issued by public or private National Universities, authorized by the National Department of Education or Foreign Universities degree complying the corresponding international equivalences and academic requirement. Advanced students of architecture, attending the last year of the degree course or working in the final project also qualify to attend this course. At the end of the course, a course certificate will be delivered. This diploma will have a quota of 25 enrolled students. Specialist in Management and Intervention of the Architectural Heritage
CONEAU accredited upon resolution nº 11.399/13 session nº 415, on March 25, 2105. Degree: Especialista en Gestión e Intervención del Patrimonio Arquitectónico. The Universidad de Mendoza through the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design creates this advanced course of Specialization in Management and Intervention of the Architectural Heritage with the purpose of enlarging the continuing education offer. The specialization aims to train professionals capable of addressing the heritage problem in an integral way in our country and in the context of the complex reality of Latin America. The curriculum offers a double orientation MANAGEMENT AND INTERVENTION, with current approaches, critical perspectives and methodological strategies to allow the professional not only to address the heritage in a whole but also to implement sustainable projects. The graduate will be qualified to work as a team, from a multidisciplinary approach in the intervention and management projects, as well as to design institutional and social ways of participation to guarantee social and heritage welfare. Specialists will be also trained to participate in the management of the architectural heritage, developing planning strategies of sustainable projects, which are aimed at the recovery and maintenance over time of society’s assets. They may also be able to develop research tasks for the preparation of documentaries bodies, and planning strategies in the field of architecture; producing reports and documentation related to preventive conservation, maintenance, recycling and restoration of architectural heritage. Graduate Profile in Management The graduate will be able to: Integrate or lead interdisciplinary teams to develop cultural projects in the public or private area related to the architectural heritage. Participate in management task of the architectural heritage, drawing planning strategies of sustainable projects aimed at the recovery and maintenance over time of society’s assets. Understand and analyze -within the local, regional and national dimension- management processes of architectural heritage and design institutional and social ways of intervention from the tools and methodologies acquired during this specialization. Graduate Profile in Intervention The graduate will be able to: Develop research tasks for the preparation of documentaries bodies, and planning strategies in the field of architecture. Integrate interdisciplinary teams to develop projects of intervention in architectural heritage. Produce reports and documentation related to preventive conservation, maintenance, recycling and restoration of architectural heritage, based on management aspects, legal and administrative obstacles to the enhancement of a building. Duration: 8 months Course: Organized in 2 (two) four-month periods of 200 clock hours. Diploma Background The origin of the landscape architecture dates back to the first mankind settlements, when the human being started to shape communities and to obtain goods from nature, by means of the agriculture and pasture. Once the man settled down on definitive basis, he started to modify the surrounding, thus the landscape. As long as sizes of those settlements increased, the corresponding settings started to be created by men, involving three new disciplines: architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning. The architecture concerns with the generation of closed spaces, which are the environment volumes; the landscape architecture with the open spaces, the typography, edaphology, hydrology, climatology and vegetation of certain land, which is situated within those empty spaces; and the urban planning with the support that gives structure to the first two spaces. The design philosophy of the landscape architecture has received multiple contributions throughout three centuries: to consolidate the discipline and the professional practice; and to establish new theoretical, technological and methodological concepts that replace the formal concept and adjust themselves to the new community needs when searching the integration with the environment. Goals: General goal is to provide the attendee with theoretical and practical tools for the architecture trouble shooting and to act properly in the approach of public urban spaces, empty spaces, and land.
